Eastern Zone Hockey Tornament
On Monday 22 June our teams had an amazing day at EZ Hockey yesterday.
It's not often our hockey teams place this highly! A special mention to Toby Wilson, who Mrs McFarlane said was approached by the Kings coach and asked to trial for an Under 14 rep team, and to Alice, who had never played goalie before and saved many goals throughout the day.

Awesome effort by the teams and goalies.
NB. They had never had a practice with a hockey ball due to a lack of shin pads and mouthguards. Playing with a tennis ball is quite different, lots of bounce and doesnt hurt.
Mrs Johnson
The year 5 team had an amazing tournament, where they won all their games, with the exception of the grandfinal. Second place considering most if not all the teams were year 6, was a great achievement.
