Fiesta for Our South and Cental American Community
Families who have heritage of Spanish or Portuguese speaking countries were invited to a special evening of food and culture. We had approximately 50 people come along on Thursday 22 May. We had families from Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Chile and they brought with them a lovely assortment of food from South and Central America. It was nice to see people making connections.
Families also had the opportunity to provide feedback to the school about their hopes and goals for their children’s education and how they would like their family’s culture and strengths to be part of school life.
