Harmony Day 2026
We had a fantastic morning of sharing, creating, celebrating and learning at St Heliers today. The whole school was grouped into whanau groups from Year 1-Year 8 and had the opportunity to rotate around 2 activities from different cultures and countries.
The children had an opportunity to experience art, language, dance and song from all around the world led by different teachers across the school and some generous parent helpers. Even our new entrant visitors joined in all the fun by getting their passports and flying around the world in an aeroplane!
We started the day together in the hall with greetings, maps and flags which were representative from the many natonalities across the school. A highlight of the school year for staff and students!
