Paikea - Year 4 and 5 Swimming Sports
The Year 4 and 5 children had a wonderful time at swimming sports. For year 4 it was the first time competing at swimming sports but it was pleasing to see how many children were willing to give it a go. We could see all the lessons the children have been having at CLM really improved their confidence and skill level. The children competed in all the usual events and the year 5 children had the option of using the starting blocks for the first time.
The day ended with the house and class relays.
A number of these children will represent the school at the Bay Suburbs Swimming Sports on Friday 27 March at the Sacred Heart Aquatic Centre.
The results are posted below. The Swimming Champions for 2026 will be posted after they are announced at Excellence Assembly.
