As reported in previous newsletters in Term 1, school is closed on Friday 29 May for staff professional learning. This is the first of 2 Ministry of Education approved Staff Only Days. The focus for the day will be on Effective Writing Practice related to the new curriculum and we have engaged a professional development provider to deliver this. This lands on the Friday of Kings Birthday long weekend. Children will return to school on Tuesday 2 June.

The Ministry of Education has permitted school to take 2 staff only days in 2026. Our second Staff Only Day is on Friday 21 August.
