Bay Suburbs Swimming Results

This report was filed by Mrs Jackson, our PE teachers who accompanied the children on the day. We really navigated success, achieving some amazing results on Friday 27 March.

Mrs Jackson:

It was a great day at Bay Suburbs today.  The children were amazing and we had some fantastic results!

The following children made finals

These children placed in their finals

Matthew Ball (Y6) - 1st 25m freestyle, 1st backstroke, 1st breaststroke, 1st butterfly, 1st 50m freestyle, 1st medley and first Y6 Boys relay. (quite exceptional).

Eliza Kingham (Y6) - 1st butterfly, 3rd medley

Harrison Hornibrook (Y6) - 3rd backstroke, 1st Y6 Boys relay.

Harper Ramos (Y5) - 3rd backstroke

Frida Gascoigne (Y6) - 3rd backstroke

Chris Chen (Y6) - 3rd breaststroke

Alex Small (Y6) - 1st Y6 Boys relay

Flynn Burdett (Y6) - 1st Y6 Boys relay

It was an amazing day with amazing parent helpers and the children represented St Heliers incredibly well with sportsmanship.

Eliza and Matthew swam 13 races and 17 lengths in total.

I was going to send this to all staff but thought it is best to wait for the official results in case I missed any.  We had a number of 4th place too and some very close races.
