Principal for a Day
Mr Jensen (aka Harry Jensen, Y3, R10) did a fantastic job on Friday 20 March when he was ‘Principal for a Day’.
His mother bid in the silent auction at the St Heliers School Quiz Night last year and won the highest bid.
Harry greeted children at the gate in the morning, checked the student leaders and karakia school leaders before the assembly in the afternoon. He gave out the birthday cards and delivered the staff morning tea notices in the staffroom. In the afternoon he addressed the audience at the Excellence Assembly and shook the hands of the award recipients.
He was a rock star Principal!
